Picnic at Bridal Veil

We love Daddy's visits and the adventures we get to have while he is here! The kids and I venture out by ourselves quite a bit-but have been staying away from most water activities for two reasons: 1)Three kids and one adult just never is a safe combo and 2) Everyone would run the other direction if I were in a suit!

So with Kylin, we had a nice little picnic up at Bridal Veil Falls, then let the kids play in the ice cold water. Seriously- it hurt our feet to walk in the water. Koleson didn't seem to mind a bit. We walked up to the bottom of the falls (above the pond area) and the kids had a blast picking up rocks out of the water and throwing them in the fall below. They could've spent hours up there pursuing this activity- but Jocelyn was a little sad she wasn't old enough to join in. Her cries of hunger sent us on our way.

We finished our Provo outing at the BYU creamery! Gotta love that ice cream, or maybe it's the memories that correspond with it!
