Fall

This was the time of year I was really looking forward to when we decided to come back to Utah for the year. I miss all the farm happenings in Iowa- but how can you top these beautiful mountains and the colors autumn brings! Today I decided to take the kids in the mountains for a picnic lunch and a nature walk for different colored leaves.

We had so much fun! They stashed their bags with every possible shape and color (some bugs decided to hitch-hike their way into the bags also!) We came home and placed all the colors we found on a large piece of paper and hung it up on the back kitchen wall. They are so proud of their masterpieces! I am too- they did a great job leaf hunting!
